Monthly rental apartment with 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and open views on Calle Princesa
Bright, comfortable and easily accessible for getting around Madrid
Monthly rental apartment (from 32 days to 11 months)
Living in Madrid for a while is an incredible experience, but doing it from the 13th floor of a building right on Princesa Street takes it to another level. If you're here for studies or work and are looking for a place that makes you feel like you own the city, this apartment is a perfect choice.
The first thing that will leave you speechless are the unobstructed views to the west: having breakfast while looking at the Temple of Debod, the Campo del Moro and the endless green of the gardens of the Royal Palace and Casa de Campo is a luxury that few temporary rentals offer.
The living room is a spacious area bathed in natural light thanks to its high ceilings, ideal whether you need to set up your home office or prefer to relax on the sofa watching the sunset over Madrid. The separate kitchen is very comfortable and comes fully equipped with everything you need: dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee maker, and complete kitchenware.
The room also faces the exterior and exudes that same feeling of spaciousness and unobstructed views. It features ample closet space, allowing you to settle in comfortably for months. Furthermore, the bathroom is fully equipped and includes a modern and practical shower.
In terms of logistics, you'll be in an unbeatable location: the Plaza España Metro station (lines 3 and 10) is just a minute away, putting you at any university or office building in no time. If you need to travel further afield, the Príncipe Pío station is ten minutes away with its metro and commuter rail network. Plus, the vibrant Gran Vía and the area's best restaurants are just steps from your door.
It is, without a doubt, the perfect option if you are looking for light, comfort and the best panoramic view of the capital for your stay in Madrid.

About Moncloa-Aravaca
Moncloa-Aravaca is one of Madrid’s main university districts, home to key institutions such as the Complutense University of Madrid. Neighborhoods like Argüelles combine a youthful, lively atmosphere with a wide range of cafés, libraries, shops, and cultural options. Areas such as Valdezarza feel more residential—ideal if you’re looking for a quieter setting without being too far from the city center. Plus, Casa de Campo is just minutes away, offering a huge green space perfect for running, cycling, or simply unwinding.
In terms of mobility, Moncloa is a major transport hub: the Metro (Lines 3 and 6) and the bus interchanges make it easy to get around the city quickly. The area also stands out for its strong educational offer, including private schools like Colegio Estudio. Overall, Moncloa-Aravaca is an excellent choice for students and expats who want comfort, great connections, and a balance between city life and green spaces
Frequently asked questions you may have about temporary rentals
I liked an apartment, can I visit it?
Yes, if you have chosen an apartment from our website and wish to visit it, please write to us at madrid@atemporalrent.com indicating your name, email, phone number, and the apartment reference so that a sales agent can contact you. You can also call us at 91 078 60 63 during business hours.
A sales agent will get in touch with you to coordinate a visit, provided that the apartment is available for the dates you require.
What do I need to book this apartment in Madrid right now?
The documents you need to provide will vary depending on the reason for your stay in Madrid if you are:
A. Student
B. Employee
C. Corporate bookings (company)
D. Self-employed
You can see the details in booking conditions.
Afterwards, to formalize the reservation, a payment equivalent to at least one monthly rental installment must be made. Depending on the case, the total initial payment can also be made at the time of booking, which includes:
- Security deposit: 1 or 2 monthly installments (depending on the duration of the contract).
- First and second month's rent (or proportional parts, according to the entry/exit dates).
- ITP (Property Transfer Tax), where applicable.
How can I make the payment for the reservation?
You can make the payment in three ways:
- Bank transfer: We recommend an immediate transfer, especially if the check-in is soon. If the funds are not in our account before check-in, we will not be able to proceed with the entry.
- Credit card payment at the office at Passeig de Gràcia 85, 2nd floor, 08008 Barcelona. Payment by card may involve an additional management fee.

Are utilities included in the rental price (water, electricity, and gas)?
Utilities ARE NOT INCLUDED in the apartment rental price. We work with an approximate monthly provision based on the size of the flat:
- 1-bedroom apartment: approx. 150 €/month*
- 2-bedroom apartment: approx. 200 €/month*
- 3-bedroom apartment: approx. 250 €/month*
- 4+ bedroom apartment: approx. 300 €/month*
*Reference values. Always check with your agent for the exact amount in each case.
This provision is paid along with the monthly rent within the first 5 days of each month. If, during the stay, consumption is found to be significantly higher than estimated, you will be informed of the difference.
In some apartments, utilities may be paid via a fixed monthly fee. We will inform you if this applies to your case.
What type of insurance does the property have?
Most of our properties have multi-risk insurance (building and, in many cases, contents) which covers:
- Structural elements of the home.
- Installations and, in some cases, part of the furniture.
This insurance DOES NOT cover your personal belongings (computers, phones, suitcases, etc.).
Therefore, we recommend that you consider taking out a tenant's home insurance or travel insurance that includes coverage for personal belongings during your stay.
Are pets allowed in the apartments?
Some apartments accept pets and others do not, depending on each owner's policy and the building's community rules.
We recommend contacting our team so they can help you find pet-friendly apartment options via:
- Email: madrid@atemporalrent.com
- Madrid Phone: 91 078 60 63
Who is responsible for community fees and property taxes?
Community fees and IBI (Property Tax) are the responsibility of the owner, unless otherwise agreed upon in the contract.
The tenant, where applicable, must take care of utility consumptions (water, electricity, gas) and other contracted services (internet, etc.), as well as any other concept expressly agreed upon in the contract.
